The San Diego Association of Black Journalists held their “Pro For A Day” at Southwestern College in Chula Vista on Saturday, Oct. 7. This is the first time the event has been back in person since the pandemic.
Pro For A Day is a hands-on boot camp for local college students pursuing journalism, communications, and media careers.
SDABJ held a mock press conference based on a current event. The students then put together stories for various platforms including broadcast, print, and photography.
