Student working on stories for Pro for a Day
Journalism students get an invaluable opportunity to work with professional journalists as they produce their own stories for broadcast or online publication. There will be a component for students interested in public relations as well.
Offered free of charge, high school and college students should come to Southwestern College from 830 AM (SHARP! No kidding) until 500 PM for an all day immersion in the world of journalism.
The deadline for registration is October 15, 2012. Space for the workshop is limited to 50 participants. The broadcast section is limited to 20 participants based on first come, first served. Please note, if you do not get your first choice, you will be placed in one of your subsequent choices.
