Nadege Johnson is the Grants and Communications Manager of the Sweetwater Union High School District, the second largest high school district in California. She joined SDABJ in 2007 and served as the organization’s Community Liaison from 2009-2011, receiving the 2009 SDABJ Member of the Year Award.
With more than 10 years’ experience in media relations, community outreach, public affairs and strategic communications under her belt, Nadege is a school communications veteran, most recently as the Communications Assistant at the San Diego County Office of . Previous positions include Communications Specialist providing communications planning for the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and marketing communications for the Robinsons May/Meier and Frank Corporation.
A native Californian, Nadege received her BA in Mass Communications and Public Relations from California State University San Bernardino. Nadege is also fluent in French.
Johnson resides in the College Area with her husband Ty and enjoys traveling, running and serving as a Worship Leader at The Rock Church San Diego.
